My name is Mikel Feilen. In the last 45 years, I have taught thousands of people how to sell dance lessons. I focus on providing good information instead of using high-pressure sales tactics.
For decades I have sold and taught lessons and usually in that order. Therefore, learning how to sell an intangible object such as a dance lesson, was of the utmost importance.
Can’t teach a lesson you haven’t sold!
Originally, I was taught how to use high-pressure, battle-sales procedures when selling dance lessons. Almost every instructor I have ever met hated these procedures with a passion.
After leaving the chain schools, I worked for many independent studios. They sold lessons the same way. They used high-pressure tactics.
